Thanks to Sarah for helping me find a way to keep busy at IAH's President's Club on a Sunday night as opposed to watching the Superbowl.
Anyone remember their first Amazon?
Mine was November 14, 1998, It was "The Art of War," by Sun Tzu. A replacement copy. I've been reading that book at least once a year since 1987.
Other books I make sure to read at least once a year:
Raving Fans - The best book on client service in the free world.
The Triathlete's Training Bible - Because one day I'll graduate from Olympic distance to Ironman. One day.
The Parachute and Its Pilot - Brian Germain - Invaluable reading from basics to advanced.
Update - I just ran into the TV lounge here to catch Prince doing Purple Rain at halftime. That song, live, will give me chills every time I hear it, until the day I die.
Back to books.
The Last Days of Summer by Jacque Sturges - An amazing photographer, capturing the essence of innocence and imagination.
Can We Do That?! Outrageous PR stu.... Yeah, you know. I had to mention it.
I have more, but they're calling my flight.
Go er... Whichever team wins, I suppose. I'm not even sure who's playing. Which is sad, I know.
